Since yesterday, I've been getting similar problems. Yesterday 1 lockup
and today 3 already in quick succession!
In my case, it seems to be a gradual lockup. Various programs still
respond to some mouse input, cursor keeps on blinking like everything's
normal, i can still switch tabs in FireFox. B

I am having a similar problem. I sometimes lock the screen and leave the
computer running.
If I leave it like that for a long time, such as overnight, neither the mouse
nor the keyboard work.
So I have to do a hard reboot. I don't have any crash report in my
"/var/crash" directory.
