Is it possible for you to open a terminal and run the following commands?
If yes, try running the following two commands in the terminal:
sudo apt-get remove --purge kismet
sudo apt-get install kismet
When asked about what user to add to the kismet group you should add a valid
userna
Ubuntu 14.10 does not worked properly! Ubuntu 14.10 have broken at all!
I have reinstalled again Ubuntu 13.14, who works properly!
