Hi im using an Hp Photosmart C4280 printer and i shared it using
system-config-printer.py 0.7.75 in gutsy and checking the "shared" box
on the server. I used the same system-config-printer on the client
computer to connect. I do not know how to ping the printer ...

Please run hp-check -t and post the output. Also please specify which
printer you are using, and how you are specifically sharing your printer
over the network. Can you ping the printer even if you can't connect to
it?

cups.". Do you mean CANNOT be seen?
