According to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/HardyReleaseSchedule, 8.04.1 will
be released on July 3rd. I wonder if the upgrade will be automatic or
we'll have to change release name on repositories...

I've installed 8.4 without problems (X1950 Pro, x86_64). Compared to
8.3, it improves scrolling in Firefox and Opera significantly when using
Compiz. It also seems a little more stable under stress-testing
(creating and destroying 100 OpenGL contexts asynchronously would cause
the whole PC to lock
I also installed these packages and notice no change in the version
number. However, everything continues to work, so I don't see any
problems with upgrading. And maybe it'll be worth it to get support for
the new xorg.conf in aticonfig.

Nothing bad happened and I did not see any regressions.
Nothing good happened either.
For me the bugs are identical to 8.3 fglrx.
It doesn't look like ATI changed anything at all.
Strangely the driver version number in the X log has not cha
I just upgraded my gutsy to Hardy RC and it broke my DRI ... I tried
your drivers with no luck ... I tried ATI's installer with no luck and I
tries envyng with no luck ... I wish I stayed at gutsy ...
