I am using Hardy on my laptop because I still use KDE 3.5, and the
current Intrepid kernel doesn't even boot on this laptop (the latest
update to the kernel causes it to hang while loading a USB
driver...sigh).

Why was this bug assigned to linux-restricted-modules? I do not think
it is a video driver problem; the only applications this ever happens in
are OpenOffice apps. Not only is the scrollbar not displayed properly,
but clicking in the scrollbar area does nothing, even though scrolling
is possible.

This also happens in Impress, and I would guess all Openoffice apps. It
makes scrollbars completely useless.
