while awaiting a response and it DID work on the compaq nx6110. i will try
the same procedure on the compaq nc6320.
still would appreciate any answers as to "why" the intel p

The folowing link solved the problem for several people with the Intel
Pro/Wireless 2200BG, including individuals running Ubuntu 7.1 (which is the
version gOS is based on).

after an installation of gOS space 2.9 on my compaq nc6320, the wireless
will not enable...no blue light. wired connection is fine. i have
reinstalled
