Natty kernel 2.6.37-rc2 has this patch included and 3 ttyUSBx devices
are created. Should make backporting easier? GPS still only works for
some people though:

I applied it to linux-backports-modules-2.6.32-2.6.32/updates/wwan-drivers, got
it built and loaded and I now have 3 ttyUSBx devices. Though I can't seem to
get anything out of the gps. A few other people have commented on this on
thinkwiki: http://www.thinkwiki.org/wiki/Talk:Qualcomm_Gobi_200
patch not included in any upstream release nor upstream bug report
afaik. has anyone tried to apply the patch to a lucid backports oder
maverick kernel?
