Yes a screencast would be helpful. Further 10sec delay for autohide does
not seem realistic to me at all that delay would rather cause
distraction. When you use unity for a few days you discover that when
the launcher is revealed the right way is to hover over the launcher and
not leave it.

Would you kindly attach a screen cast of the bug you're facing, it will
certainly be helpful for the developers to properly understand the bug.
Moreover, could you kindly tell us the Ubuntu version you've currently
installed.
Moreover, it is by design that if another application is covering the

It seems to me that the Unity Bar hides, in some circumstances, whenever
your mouse isn't exactly on the left edge of the screen. Move your mouse
even the slightest bit away from the edge, and the bar will hide within
half a second.

I have also noticed a similar bug on my computer. However, it's not
about how long the launcher stays open.
My problem seems to be that the launcher wants to close when my mouse
moves away from the edge of the screen. It moves so quickly that it's
impossible to click on anything before it closes.
