I'm closing this bug. The "Directory nonexistent" error itself should be fixed in Hardy (see bug 107820). Just because the "Directory nonexistent" handling is better does not mean that CPU frequency scaling is supported. If you still get "CPU frequency scaling not supported" during boot or with
