Issue still appears in 11.04 Alpha 1, gonna check on Mint 10 soon. Tried
the latest Fedora without issue. Gonna try Debian 6 once it's released
too, so far it still looks like this is a Ubuntu specific issue.

I've had this issue with various USB devices for years.
Here's one example that used to work on older hardware with Ubuntu
installs, but generally not with newer.
