I am affected by this as well in 12.04 and in 11.10 before that. If this
is not a bug then at least a flawed design. The interface is such that
intuitively you do not log out, but just point and click to switch to
the desired user account. This then leaves you unintentionally with

After some more testing I have found that out of the five standard
themes in Ubuntu 12.04, Ambiance and Radiance work but High Contrast,

Just upgraded to Ubuntu 12.04 Precise Pangolin (64 bit) last weekend and
noticed that changing the display language and regional formats via
language selector does not have any effect unless changes are applied
system-wide.

In Ubuntu 12.04 (fresh install) when i try to start Rosegarden, Ardour or
Hydrogen they crash with just the message "segmentation fault".
This is very frustrating for an LTS release and interrupt my productivity.
