Ok - I've pulled out just the actual source patches. Since these are all

FWIW, the /etc/network/if-up.d/ does work for me. I hope this can get
fixed soon. I'm also having a similar problem with the openssh-
server... sshd does not fire off at boot, I have to start manually even
though it's turned on in chkconfig and the /ect/init.d script looks

I have the identical problem with KNetwork Manager. Currently I only have the
MAC list to defend my router, because I can't get the laptop to connect without
transmitting the SSID.
I consider this a CRITICAL problem that was broken by upgrading to kubuntu
9.10, Karmic Koala.
