Please explain the validity: What package does this affect? Ubuntu is

I first added ppa:glasen/intel-driver to my repositories and then installed
libdrm (actually it was called libdrm2 - marked for upgrade - in my synaptic)
and xserver-xorg-video-intel (also marked for upgrade). I assume that would
have got the job done.

I have noticed the a number of daemons do not start in Ubuntu 10.04 - it
seems the since version 6 Ubuntu users upstart. So I have created a
temporary fix until it gets sorted.
as root in /etc/init create a file called temp-fix.conf with the following

Please can we move this to high priority? A month later and no
activity, yet Gwibber always crashes for me because of this bug.

chrome:// code (e.g., Firefox extensions), the code should be granted

I think there's no need to take special actions for 2.1.3: we will
upload 2.1.4 quite soon which has this issue fixed.

Thank you for the update. It appears you have 2 flash versions
installed. flashplugin-nonfree is version 9 and adobe-flashplugin is
version 10. Please try uninstalling flashplugin-nonfree to see if
that helps.

Not practical. I have 5 or 6 windows with 10-15 tabs each open all the time.
Trying a new profile, and then opening all the windows by hand, trying one
extension at a time until maybe Firefox disappears again possibly (when, until
recently, it had not done it at all)... Not practical. If I
