to be the goal of text-mode scanning). Some points:
1. OCR is so terrible in linux, it's hardly worth bothering with OCR tuning

disabling vsync (i used ccsm) helps a lot, but doesn't fix the problem
completely. I have three monitors, two on a radeon card, one on the on-

I've hotplugged the VGA monitor and the colours in the DVI monitor are now

it's still beta level as far as i can tell. the last code drop added no
new features (despite several years of planned features on the web
site), just a refactoring and a few of many needed bug fixes.

oh, right. Well, I'd strongly suggest that doing this automatically
instead of throwing an indecipherable error message would be the desired
behaviour. this doesn't seem like a dangerous default. At least, could
it say this folder was intended to be unzipped somehwere else
(place), do you really
with jaunty kernel 2.6.28-10, the raid is no longer assembled at all.
The array can be created with mdadm --create --assume-clean, as before,
apparently without any problems. this sounds okay if nothing has been
written to the array yet, and since it isn't assembled, this should be
fine. Unless

uninterrupted installation process waits for user input to confirm
whether a proxy is needed.
expected behaviour: internet connection is tested; failure results in
dialogue to establish proxy/internet settings.
