No, there is a little chance that I changed it manually but I've
installed it many months ago...maybe could be it be the root cause? I
really don't remember if I manually touched fstab...so it could be my
fault...

Bugs,
I know it's a dirty workaround, anyway here it is some useful info.
Just a note: I'm using a late 2011 iMac, with triple boot (OSX, Windows 10,
Ubuntu), and using refind as boot manager.
I was using Ubuntu 16.04 before this upgrade.
If you need additional info, I'm happy to contribute!
I have UEFI, Ubuntu is installed in UEFI mode I confirm.
I've fixed using this method:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/grub2-signed/+bug/1571925/comments/7
The strange thing is that EFI partition is not mounted, but it is in the
/ partition

Also one thing is *weird* to me: if I select another driver than nouveau (using
jockey) it will be installed.
Then after the reboot, if I launch jockey again I don't see nouveau in list
anymore, even reinstalling nouveau* from apt.
I'm using GeForce Go7400 on my HP Laptop.

Adding UNITY_FORCE_START=1 to /etc/environment as suggested worek for me, using
