It seems as though there's no official packages for Kubuntu/*buntu, but you can get the latest nightly build of KDE 4 (codenamed Project Neon) by adding the following to your sources.list: http://ppa.launchpad.net/project-neon/ubuntu intrepid main and running sudo aptitude update and sudo apt
