It is a database virtualization software that brings MySQL compatibility to
HBase. It means you can use any MySQL bindings such as JDBC, ODBC, PHP, Perl to
manipulate data in HBase. It supports m

Since you mention that AntsDB is designed for OLTP, but I think actually
you can not prevent user writes an analytical SQL and throw it to you, how
do you deal with these SQLs?

I am not an expert with software license. But my gut’s feeling is I can’t claim
Apache if I am using code from MySQL JDBC driver (GPL), can I?

Dear HBase community:
A new version of AntsDB has been released. To address some of the feedback from
the community, now the source code is published under LGPL license. It is much
less restrictive than the previous AGPL license. I hope it will ease the
concerns of making derivative work.

Hi,
I’d like to share my experience. The conference was a huge success. There are
lots of people attended the meeting. My guess is 500+, but could be more.
Location is very good, 3 minutes walk from the subway. It was held at a very
nice hotel. There are spacey hallway, cafeteria and restauran
