I've been trying to merge our existing project to one based on OfBIZ. I've had
a bit of succes thus far, but I've hit a snag.
We used to run on a MySQL. I build a Database.class which had a few easy to use
methods, which you could hand an id to retrieve an object or hand an object
And ofcourse I make a huge mistake in my first post on this list by forgetting

ofbiz is not object oriented so you will have problems from the Get go.
the Design focus with ofbiz is the entity and services. If you
circumvent that, then you are beyond what most can support.
Your best bet is to study the persistent layer of ofbiz.

One of the main differences between OFBiz and other kinds data-centric
frameworks is that OFBiz works directly on an Entity-Relational model,
instead of adding a layer of Object-Relational mapping.
What I think you are describing is essentially a DAO architecture.

I'm asking about the possibility of integrating the ofbiz with phone or
call centre device.
I want to achieve the following scenario
A customer calls then the system knows the phone number and lookup it's
information from the databse
I dun think there's something like that in ofbiz am I

Service 'IN' parameters are validated. Default is allow-html=none. So
you must try this:
1) attribute name=scanResult type=String mode=IN optional=false
alllow-html=safe/
or
2) attribute name=scanResult type=String mode=IN optional=false
alllow-html=any/
This will
