Hello,
My questions has to do with potentially performance impacting issues if
we switch from Thunderbird + Integrator to Outlook + AS...
We have our mail server (dovecot) running on one virtual server, and
SOGo running on a separate virtual server.
Currently, with Thunderbird, there is no Email
Hello
I have used sogo two years ago and i remember that we needed to install
funambol on the sogo server to synchronise calendar and address book on android
mobile. I can’t find any documentation about it in the new sogo version
(2.2.16). Is it still necessary ?
Thank you for the help

Dear Mathilde,
Necessary? It depends..
If you use additional software on your android
like "aCal" (see http://f-droid.org/) you don't
need funambol. But I've too less experience with
aCal to say "fine" or "fail" to this solution.

Cal- and Carddav-Sync really work very well and stable. They are able to
sync all calendars and address books

Hi Heather,
to complete all the other answers (and correct me if I’m wrong), the web
interface is mainly inspired from Thunderbird but it’s only a design and
functional choice. It’s not running any Thunderbird’s code. You can/should read
more about it on their website : http://www.sogo.nu/about
