Your iPhone 12 Pro canm be submerged in 2 metres of water (7 feet) for a half
hour, if it just fell into the sinkand you got
out using the heat from a hairdryer or anything else.

Use the rice if you like but be aware that it’s been found to be a myth
The best thing to do is put the phone somewhere warmish and in a towel or
something
So that the warmth allows the water to evaporate
I took the hair drier to mine.

but a short Google search suggested oatmeal or even couscous. I decided
to go with the oatmeal. I put the phone in a ziplock bag and it's

The phones are meant to be water proof down to I believe it's a meter (3 feet

For up to approx. 30 minutes.
How ever soapy water could be a problem as the chemicals in the soap may be an
issue.
Good luck.

Once my trusty 11 fell into a commode, thankfully not a recently used one. I
grabbed it out immediately, just kept on trucking after thoroughly drying - no

down. Then I would take it out of the case and put it in a bag of uncooked
rice. Leave it there overnight before you try turning it on again or plugging
it in.
I’ve had this happened to my phone as well and it made me
