As long as you had an iCloud backup all can easily be put on your new hone.
Apps included.
Even settings of the apps.
It works quite well.

Fred and Daniel suggested to do an iCloud backup and I just thought I add
that you have to be running iOS 5 or later for this feature to be available.
If you have an iPhone 4 and never bothered to update you will not be able to
back up to iCloud.
