I have Apple Remote Desktop 3.1 installed on my MacBook Pro OSX10.4.10

I want to connect to my sister's G4 iBook OSX10.4.10 via the Internet.
She has a Airport Express Network.

Hi David,
Glad you found what was taking up your HD, I was going to suggest
duplicate backups.
I had this happen & realised I had Déjà Vu keeping too many Archives
of my backups on my Internal Drive.
Also it's good to run Maintenance Tasks regularly using an
application like Macjanitor?
My Apologies.. I have found that my Maxtor external hard disk had
created duplicate volumes on my iMac HD and therefore used up all the
HD space. Phew.

Hi All,
My iMac G5 with 150GB hard disk has produced a warning this morning
that the "startup disk is nearly full". I have run "Whatsize" on my
HD and it confirms this but in the detail it only shows a total of
70Gb being used where has the other 80GB gone and how can I find

I have noticed this behaviour, different ISP, same Mail.app and same

Click on the Messages on Server tab. You can then select residual

Hi Stephen,
I too am with Westnet, and have purchased a new iMac (so I'm new
to Mac OS X).
I checked my browser Westnet account, and my e-mails are being
deleted. So it does work with 'Mail'.
I checked the 'advanced' button on the e-mail account and the one

Hi folks,
For some reason (since I got my new iMac) my emails do not delete
from ISP server (Westnet) once downloaded. I only noticed this
because I happened to use webmail one day to check my emails, and I
wondered why the hell there were so many there and going back so far.

Sounds like a big purge of my PowerBook soon. Amazing where 100GB
