Hi Michael, I feel that the backup is the primary thing when syncing. You can choose wether to backup to iCloud or to Mac ( I have chosen to Mac). I have created an Album in Photos called “iPhone” and have ticked that as the one to Sync. I have also created a Playlist in iTunes called “iPhone” fo

My question is - back-up what exactly? The only thing I have on my iPhone is a small collection of reference photos which get copied ( that’s a verb I actually understand) to my MBP and deleted off the phone. The rest is a series of partly finished crossword puzzles and a partly read novel.
