Does anyone know why Mail (5.2 - lowland Lion) sometimes keeps drafts, often
multiple drafts, of mails even after I've finished and sent them? It's a pain
because, being a bit of a sausage-brain, I keep thinking I've forgotten to send
things and waste time checking

Just to feed back on the memory slot - before even reaching for the
isopropyl I tried another suggestion I read - rubbing the contacts on
the dimm with a pencil eraser. Whaddya know - now gets a perfect score
on memtest and safari hasn't quit since. Haven't given
