Hi all
All my stations were on 3.5.0
Had a issue with one so I upgraded to 3.6.2
That's when wu rf stopped
Updated my test rig now its the same
Down graded to 3.5.0 from 3.6.2
No change
Thomas has asked me do do I few checks and sent logs
He carnt find no issue with it
So looks like its a bug on wu
one more thing: be sure that the database specified in /etc/weewx/kl.conf
is different from the database specified in /etc/weewx/wmr88.conf
for example, /var/lib/weewx/kl.sdb and /var/lib/weewx/wmr88.sdb

Odds are this is a problem with a serial to usb converter. Are you using
one?
The html directory will be created when the first report is run.
You have a longish archive interval (30 minutes). Is that what you intended?

If you are on 3.5.0 try the other way - and see if changing the version in
weewx.conf to 3.6.2 makes WU rapidfire appear to fail!!

That's why I suggested just changing the version in weewx.conf and trying
to 'fool' WU to see if it is something in THEIR validation procedures - as
the weewx version is part of the rapid fire upload.. just a thought
.

I did a reinstall is on 3.5.0 now
But might downgrade back to wheezy on the RPI as well
But Thomas said its transmits the correct URL
The bit that stumps me is they both did it after a upgrade
Cheers

Out of curiosity - change weewx.conf to give the earlier version of weewx -
so that WU think you are using an earlier version - and see what
happens!!!

Yea only diff is.
Weeazy. And 3.5.0
Jessie 3.6.2
Just waiting to see what wu says
Cheers again for the help

Hi,
another day - another question... :(
We actually use two additional Stations within our Davis Vantage 2 - 6345OV
- one is set up as leaf, the other as soil moisture/temp.
But we need more than 4 soil moisture sensors to support our sponsor - so
we have to connect them in anyway directly to t
Grame, if you decide to tackle this, the right way to do it is to write a
driver for the weedb shim. It takes care of any database differences.
I doubt the differences in case-sensitivity will be a major problem. Weewx
does not take advantage of case sensitivity.

Unfortunately, the WMR89 seems to use a completely different protocol than
any of the other Oregon Scientific instruments (why??), so we don't have a
driver. As Oregon Scientific does not publish their protocols, it would
have to be reverse engineered.

This is showing pretty definitively that weewx is posting LOOP packets to
Rapidfire every 2 seconds, just like it's supposed to.
I have no explanation for why the results are not showing up. It's even
more mysterious that your other stations seem to work fine.

Mike,
Do you have an APRS passcode? I can generate one for you if needed.

Thank you for your response, even though it wasn't perhaps the best of news.
As they mentioned in the thread it seems like a nice station, so it would
be fun to have support for it. If there was more than 24 hours a day I
could perhaps buy one and help with adding support for it but this project

Andrew,
For the Amateur radio operators they recommend using rotate to spread the
load out on the servers, it's kinda like a backdoor into the APRS system. I
can provide him with an APRS passcode if he doesn't already have one.

Dave - I thought the rotate servers were only for use if you have a
validation code, whilst the cwop.aprs.net should be used without the
validation code - or is the link I posted out of date??

It's recommended now that you use rotate.aprs.net:14580
Here is my CWOP section
[[CWOP]]
# This section is for configuring posts to CWOP.
# If you wish to do this, set the option 'enable' to true,
# and specify the station ID (e.g., CW1234).
enable = true
Looks as though you should be using cwop.aprs.net

You'll have to wait for Mathew and/or Tom for the 'official' response - but
this Cumulus forum thread may give you some clues and answers

Hi there!
I just discovered the weewx project and it seems to be great for my needs
of building a custom weather station interface. I'm looking into buying
the WMR89 from Oregon but I noticed it's not on the supported hardware
list. Is there any specific reason for this or is it maybe just that
