[weewx-user] Problems with pressure reading of Fine Offset WH2600

2018-05-26 Thread 'Mathias Henrich' via weewx-user
Hello After tinkering with this problem for a while now, I think I could use some help: As far as I've understood the doc, Fine Offset WH2600 only sends out its internal "absolute pressure" value as "pressure". However, in my case, it seems to be read as "barometer". The webui of the station

Right. There is no place to map it. An Acurite console will display this total for the day, but weeWX calculates its own daily total. On Saturday, May 26, 2018 at 8:20:07 PM UTC-4, bdf0506 wrote: > > Thanks. But what is rain_total from the Acurite? Is this something that > acurite has

Thanks. But what is rain_total from the Acurite? Is this something that acurite has calculated for me? Sounds like it doesn't need to be used/mapped. On Sat, May 26, 2018 at 10:42 AM RobbH wrote: > With a very similar setup, here's what's in the sensor map section of my >

Hi Matthew, is there an older version of the weewx-interceptor code before the pylibpcap binding change I might be able to try? On Thursday, May 24, 2018 at 11:55:21 AM UTC-4, mwall wrote: > > douglas, > > this looks like a pcap library issue. i think there are two python > bindings for pcap:

if the data from wu is in the database now then they will be regenerated. On Saturday, 26 May 2018 17:51:54 UTC+3, bdf0506 wrote: > > This is my data from a PWS in WeatherUnderground. But I’ll try to delete > them and see if they regenerate. > > On Sat, May 26, 2018 at 10:43 AM Andrew Milner

This is my data from a PWS in WeatherUnderground. But I’ll try to delete them and see if they regenerate. On Sat, May 26, 2018 at 10:43 AM Andrew Milner wrote: > If you are talking about the NOAA reports all you need to do is delete all > NOAA reports, and they will

What you have now done is quite probably the better approach anyway. On Saturday, 26 May 2018 17:13:46 UTC+3, bdf0506 wrote: > > I gave up on this approach. > > I updated the database schema and pumped the extra sensors into some > custom fields. This way, I only need to run one weewx instance.

If you are talking about the NOAA reports all you need to do is delete all NOAA reports, and they will all be generated/regenerated again on the next report cycle On Saturday, 26 May 2018 17:00:58 UTC+3, bdf0506 wrote: > > I just imported about a year's worth of data from WeatherUnderground

With a very similar setup, here's what's in the sensor map section of my weewx.conf (changing my sensor ID number to yours): rain = rainfall.3420.* weeWX calculates the daily rain total. On Friday, May 25, 2018 at 11:51:43 AM UTC-4, bdf0506 wrote: > > I'm trying to properly map an

I gave up on this approach. I updated the database schema and pumped the extra sensors into some custom fields. This way, I only need to run one weewx instance. My extra sensors are only capturing temp and humidity so there isn’t calculations I need weewx to do on those, and one db is preferred

I just imported about a year's worth of data from WeatherUnderground into my database. Now, I would like to show the reports. I ran "wee_database --drop-daily" and "wee_database --rebuild-daily", followed by "wee_reports" in an attempt to generate everything. At this point, the daily, weekly
