Re: (313) Pioneer 500 follow-up
I haven't seen any pictures pre-NAMM, but a guy named Chris Duncan and I had a good conversation about it such that it will have the same wiring as their club level stuff and the same tank ass build as their ttm54. I have a TTM54 and it is a two channel monster!!! It uses the same goods as all of their other gear. It is an excellent road-warrior!! Get someone to open one up for you, NO WIRES, all of the replacement shit uses sockets, It is just sick! Benny D On Wed, 19 Jan 2000 18:35:45 EST [EMAIL PROTECTED] writes: actually, the PMC 50 is one of the cleanest boards around. i will say that it is one of the only vestax boards that sounds good, though. It is so clean that Burst uses them on their rig and they are so harcore about RANE shit it is unbelievable. i am not into their battle boards at all. they sound like ass! I haven't heard about the new RANE. are their any promo shots of it? Their new rotary board is real dope! another bad thing about the 50 is that the headphone output kinda blows. it is nothing that a headphone amp can't fix. -craig- YOU'RE PAYING TOO MUCH FOR THE INTERNET! It may not be as hard or underground as the other tracks on that comp, but it's a fun little tune if you just relax and enjoy it. That track was custom-made for Friday night radio in Detroit, and received much airplay. My gf still ends up humming it about every other Friday, almost subconsciously. Context matters, I suppose. - There4IM
Re: (313) dj assault comps (Maybe OT)
Yeah I love this track. The original AUX88 track its based on was beautiful and pairing it with the vocal gives it a great edge. I'm guilty of humming it after getting home from work on a Friday too. And on a Saturday I hum Nuages _No Work Today_ :) From: There4IM [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: (313) dj assault comps (Maybe OT) Wow. I humbly disagree. Re: (313) Re: Pioneer DJM500 - should I?
if you are using the DJM500 for home than get it. the effects are really limited, though. it does have a send/return that you can assign to each channel anyway. being an owner of a PMC50 i feel theat the 50 will hold in the long run better than the pioneer. i have had my 50 for over a year now and it has had no problems. Before Fotias used to have his own 50's he rented mine from me. so, it has been out to quite a few parties and it was at the Blind Pig almost every week. i have heard of some Pioneers breaking down after a while. i don't know i don't own one. the 50 is built like a tank, though. again my opinion is a little biased. i will say that i have sold a bunch of Pioneers and most of the people seem to be happy with them. i have heard of them losing a channel. i hope this has helped you out a little bit. then again , it might not of. -craig g-
