Wish I had that. Have you checked discogs.com for the tracklist? (Here's hoping you buy the vinyl version if you like the burn :-). Just came across this site: http://www.nkhstudio.com/ Watched the pieces about the 303 and the Amen brother break, thought it might be interesting for the list. Nothing new or revolutionary, not even entirely correct here and there, but just interesting.

313 List bounces a number of things: 1. The 7 words you can't say on (American) television. This isn't prudery, but rather, is meant to protect people who read 313 at work -- some companies scan incoming e-mail for pithy Anglo-Saxon expressions of this sort, assuming that they aren't a normal part of business communications. Ha! 2. Multipart Mime Messages/HTML E-mail. Text-only is the rule. Theoretically ezmlm can filter the HTML out of a messages and just post the text part, but so far this hasn't been implemented. 3. EBay URLs get bounced. Those are the filters I know about. There may well be more. Whatever happened to these labels? Does anyone have any up to date? I heard there are some sub-labels etc but haven't really heard anything. Cheers Mel
Re: (313) Mille Plateaux/ force Inc
I could be wrong, but I think Force Inc Force Tracks are both simply gone. I've seen some Mille Plateux items on the Mille Plateaux Media imprint, so there may be some life there. jeff Whatever happened to these labels? Does anyone have any up to date? (313) Suburban Night, chicago/Fri??
Did anyone go to this show at the smartbar? I was there and really enjoyed the set. It was all over the place. He started out with some detroit classics, playing a remix of Jupiter Jazz that I have never heard before (any one know about that remix? who did it? what label?), played some acid and then some old ravey songe like these sounds fall into my mind(I dont think thats the actual name of the song). Anyways it definitely felt like a real party, people got pretty excited, fun fun fun. So yeah any info on that Jupiter Jazz remix?? chana

Anyone heard of this guy? I just saw him this past weekend opening for a local guy called Mach Fox (that's another email altogether) http://www.severin24.com loads of energy on stage playing a little Korg synth, a Theramin of some sort, and a bit of laptop. Well worth checking out if you like your electro and techno mixed with a bit of French disco pop and a smattering of pogo dancing punk energy. MEK
Re: (313) Mille Plateaux/ force Inc
I can tell you the following: they exist still the label was kind of taken from achim. they have released some new stuff as digital disco inc. there is some behind the scenes drama that I can't talk about, but I do not expect this label to be around much longer. sad too, because they released some good stuff. I have copies of some of the stuff slated for release, but at this point, the label may not be in a position to put the stuff out. -Joe From: Melody Ng [EMAIL PROTECTED] Date: 2005/07/25 Mon AM 08:40:12 EDT To: 313@hyperreal.org Subject: (313) Mille Plateaux/ force Inc Whatever happened to these labels? Re: (313) Suburban Night, chicago/Fri??
I went to this and I just wished that James Pennington could have played last and not Superpitcher, who despite playing okay just was not exciting as a follow up to James's set. Anyway, James really brought an awesome vibe with his mixing, I just don't hear DJ's really working it proper much these days I guess! And of course, nice track selection. ~David Chana Goodman wrote: Did anyone go to this show at the smartbar? I was there and really enjoyed the set. It was all over the place.
