Sounds likea big joke !! It is delivered with a 64 mb memory !
I think the highest you can get with CF is 1024 mb

The iriver used to record in wav and they had up to 40 gb.

Check H320 and H340 on http://www.iriver.com/

cheers

This seems to be exactly what you're looking for:

However I think they're still expensive.

You might like to consider a good second-hand DAT, although this isn't
for wav of course.

I'd suggest do your research and look at ebay.

Hi,

Is anyone aware of a portable recorder with Line in that records in .wav
format?

My mixer has a -10 dB RCA record out that I'd like to take advantage of.

I am looking for something similar to the old Creative Nomad, that was
basically a hard disk recorder, but the user interface and getting them
to
work with XP are horrible.

I'd prefer not to record to MP3 format or mini disk, and want to avoid
the
hassle of tearing down the computer to move it to my 'DJ room' since I
don't
have a laptop.

Any Help?

Just received this in the mail: http://www.geminidj.com/news_ikey.html

Considering the brand, I don't expect too much of this. You still need
an additional storage device (it should be possible to use an iPod for
this) and if you do want to convert to mp3, the highest bitrate is only
256 Kbps. But if you want to record to wav and you already have an iPod
or similar device, this could work. You still couldn't play back the
wav directly on the iPod, but that's just a matter of connecting it to
your computer and importing it through iTunes.

In the mail I received it had a suggested retail price of approx 200
euros which I think is way too expensive for a device like this. Don't
have a clue about US prices though.
