RE: (313) (OT) In-ear headphone advice
Thanks for all the suggestions. I've not decided which ones I am going to give a go, but I have more than enough options to choose from. Shucks, you guys are THE BEST! :) -Original Message- From: Tristan Watkins [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: 20 September 2007 00:42 To: 'robin'; '313 313' Subject: RE: (313) (OT) In-ear headphone advice -Original Message- From: robin [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: 19 September 2007 14:44 To: 313 313 Subject: Re: (313) (OT) In-ear headphone advice I have some E2cs. The sound is nice but I use my Sennheiser cx300s (be careful to get genune ones) much much more as the Shures are incredibly tricky to install in your ear (and get them in and out again if anyone talks to you) The Sennheiser's sound is not that different to the e2c. Hannah got some of the Sennheiser cx300s recently which I had to give a go. They're far superior to the Sonys I think, and the fit seems to be more universally friendly. Think I'm gonna get me some. Probably just a gimic but you can get them in eco-friendly(er) packaging if you order from Amazon. Even if it is a gimic, it's the kind of direction I'd like to support when slapping down cash. (313) Upcoming Wild Kingdom
The coming edition of The Wild Kingdom will feature some certified oldies from the likes of Jumpin' and Pumpin'', Zoe Magik, ESP, GPR, Great Lakes, Brainiak, 100% Pure, ESP, Djax and Planet E. It'll be a bit of an Anti-Dave angel set (no, I don't hate the guy, it's just that most of the set is pitched down rather than up, hee, hee). As usual, the show is Saturday night/Sunday morning 9/23 from midnight to 3AM,(8A-11A GMT), on KFJC 89.7-FM in the San Francisco Bay area. Out of the area, check www.kfjc.org for webcast. With the kind permission of Martin Dust, I'm also broadcasting the live Black Dog set from the Hare and Hounds in Sheffield. This will happen around 1:00A PDST/9:00A GMT. (313) Berlin Nov 9-19th!?!
I will be visiting my son in Berlin in November -- arriving 9th, leaving 19th. Would love to see some of you American expats and Echt Berliners. I'm interested in events during that period too. Also -- any tips on decent, cheap accomodations would be greatly appreciated. My son's living in Kreuzberg, so near there would be perfect. Es ist mir gern zu besuchen der Grosster Stadt des Oontz Oontz!
