Re: (313) 313 list T Shirts for DEMF?
How would getting the shirts done in the UK make it cheaper? There are a lot of screen printing houses here in Detroit that are really good. With the exchange rate, its cheaper to get them done here in Detroit. And for Kent (apologies for sending that last one through with rich text, I know most the list didn't see the above), I understand that your thinking of those in Europe, I am too. A month ago, I had a clothing company from the UK contact me about outsourcing their screen printing to a company here in Detroit because of the cost difference. They will save more than 3/4 of the printing price and they get to help the Detroit economy by printing them at a Detroit Artist Community Center. They're speaking to the trade association about tariffs, and it still looks like they'll save at last 1/2. This list is about the 313 influence. I vote we do them in Detroit and in turn help benefit Detroit Artists in a Detroit Community Center. Jodie On Thu, Feb 21, 2008 at 2:14 PM, Thomas D. Re: (313) 313 list T Shirts for DEMF?
Mine is super old...and I want a new one. And do we have to limit it to members going to DEMF? I'm not going, but would still like the 313 shirt. http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.editAlbumPhoto&albumID=8979&imageID=3462403&MyToken=fcd1c876-7218-4064-b836-a26ba9c3f97e Here is a pic of me rocking mine in 02 in Singapore. Heh I bet Luke still has the screen for that one. Maybe I should change the ink so that there's the 313 classic and the repress. We'll have a pop at designing one if you want Kent, we can also get shirts made in the UK, which will make it cheaper for the UK/Europe headsJust a thought... m

(313) No posting from Nabble
Just so everyone knows, I block all posts coming from n4bble.com If you want to post to 313 you have to be subscribed. I object to Nabble because their business model is based around finding E-Mail lists and archiving them without consulting the admin or users of the list. They also allow posts to lists from non-subscribers, even if the list doesn't allow non-subscribers. They say they don't but they haven't properly implemented the restriction. I also don't trust them not to harvest and re-sell e-mail addresses. I also object to them archiving 313, even though I've told them not to. It's being archived at least 2 other places, 3 if you count the raw archive files on hyperreal. I've unsubscribed their mailbot repeatedly. I shouldn't have allowed them to resubscribe in the first place, but sometimes I approve subscriptions in a hurry without scrutinizing the address. They resub every time they notice I've unsubbed them. I'm tired of their BS. So if you use Nabble to read the 313 list -- sorry, but you'll have to suck it up and learn to use and manage a mail client.
