Re: (313) Spam.. sorry but Im playing in Detroit tomorrow.. Leland Hotel Acid Flashback
Great lineup, wish they could have you on for more than an hour, Placid. But I must say, it's the Leland (yeah, the Ballroom not the other caves) -- bad things happen. I hope this works out anyway. The lineup -is- great. fh - >If anyone is at a loss and is out and about, Il be playing here about 4ish >i think... > >For more info and an interesting discussion on the merits of holding it >atthat venue, go here > >http://www.detroitluv.com/index.php?topicV338.120 > >P > > > >mail2web - Check your email from the web at >http://link.mail2web.com/mail2web > > >

(313) some improvised techno
Last year me and two friends of mine started a "band" Ago Tela for improvised electronic music. The concept is to have no pre prepared sequences or anything, just total free improvisation that can take us anywhere from abstract ambient soundscapes to dancy 4/4 techno. Also not limited to electronic instuments... We were lucky that our first official gig was opening for Moritz von Oswald trio, when they played here in Ljubljana last autumn. Here's a recording of a recent studio session, that came out more on the techno side, appropriate for this list :) http://soundcloud.com/agotela/session07022010 Jernej www.octex.si
Re: (313) what's up with Ultradyne?
I'm calling this a hiatus. In Mimai I was out and about too much to do anything; enjoying the sun for a while. I move up to North Carolina 2 years ago and haven't had the space (small condo downtown with sensitive neighbors). I once got a noise complaint whilst watching Law and Order. :) Once I get situated in the correct environs, we shall see. I'm moving to Puerto Rico soon, so hopefully that will provide the happy medium. I have been thinking about it more lately though. The whole ordeal left a very bitter taste in my mouth. I'll spare the details.
