Of course, I've debated hitting up Movement Torino as well - not to

just that like everyone else on this list, I'm getting older, and I
want to cram in as many techno tourist adventures as I can before I go

I've been off and on Hyperreal in some way or other since... I'm

Flipping through what I have already I realized that most of mine are at

I've got a good portion of the X-Mix series (Saunderson, Ishii, Dj Hell,
Acquaviva/Hawtin, Garnier), the Aux 88 Electro Boogie mix (one of my
faves), Carl Craig Stacey Pullen's DJ Kicks mixes, Matthew Herbert's
Globus Mix Vol. 5, DJ T-1000 Live Sabotage: Live In Belgium, and a few

You can get the Pioneers to sound OK, if you know what you are doing and
understand gain structure.

Re: (313) votes

2007-10-24 Thread Alan Heneghan
I own a AH 62 and really like the sound of it, but find it a bit cramped
sometimes, but superb at home.

I'm also a big fan of the Formula Sound PM80 (a mixer that has been out of
production for over 10 years, very popular with sound engineers) and Ecler
SCLAT100.
Both, 19 rack mounted, super clean signal path, no effects, tank like
workhorses.
Played on an original UREI at a club once, but as mentioned, the lack of EQ
was daft.

So out of the choices given, 62.

Not the best, EQ could be better and the filters are pointless I don't
think mixers should have FX like this. It just annoys me when you hear
people using them all the time to cover there bad mixing.if you want
 FX buy a separate unit

the biggest pile of sh*t ive ever used in my entire life.

that said, i dont like any of the popular mixers. ive played on ahs,
vestaxes, numarks, eclers, ranes, etc. not one of them has ever made me
feel like i needed to go out and buy one. that said, ive never messed

which is also stupid. the people who make and design mixers are just

Do not buy this bootleg version of Intergalactic Beats on blue marble
vinyl from HTFR.
One of the records is so badly pressed that it is unlistenable, and I mean
unlistenable on both sides. I couldnt hardly make out what the tunes were
and the fact that labels are on the wrong records doesnt help also.
The 'Bug in the Bassbin' is just about playable. So that's £30 odd for a
copy of BITB.
I bought it and bounced it.
