(313) Re: Surgeon - He is more than good
Gary, try catching surgeon on home turf at the house of god, birmingham as he's normally bang on form there, though he can have the odd duff night ( i should know i've been going to hog long enough ) i think he's playing with james ruskin at the end of march (28th maybe), of course you then get to hear paul damage dj, not a night for the faint of heart :-) stuart _ Stay in touch with MSN Messenger http://messenger.msn.co.uk

[313] RE:Groove La Chord/Midnight Club game commercial comments???
I'll have to look out for them, but here's some background information in case you didn't know. the head of marketing at Rockstar games is Terry Donovon, who used to be resident DJ at the house of god (www.hog.org.uk) in birmingham, uk. I'm pretty sure they've licensed surgeon ( that'd make sense given the hog connection) and other techno in the past for there games In fact i saw him play there about 2-3 months ago, and he played groove la chord in his set Hope this helps Stuart _ Join the worlds largest e-mail service with MSN Hotmail. http://www.hotmail.com - To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Re: [313] Subject Detroit
I've got Subject Detroit Vol 2 mix cd but where the hell can you get no 1 from. Can't seem to find it anywhere. Help, i need a copy cos vol 2 is ace. Saw DJ Bone @ Atomic jam at the weekend, and he was rather good, made a nice change from the usual bangin techno dj's they normally have. His set was suprisingly similar to his mix cd which was no bad thing. Next month normal service resumes with Dave Clarke, DJ Rush, Trevor Rockcliffe. stuart would that be DJ Bone by any chance?? i know his 2 mix CD's are called Subject: Detroit JEFF! _ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com

UR live pa tape
I got hold of a recording of a live UR pa from new york 1992, it starts of with sonic destroyer(i think), amazon's on there, there's also an MC on there (Rob Hood?) about 4-5 tracks in human resource - dominator drops in and someone (Jeff Mills?) starts djing, not sure how many records get played cos i'm not totally familiar with the records that UR were putting out at this time (i know there recent stuff a lot better) and i'm not sure exactly when the live pa starts up and the dj stops. was this the standard fare, live and dj sets combined for the UR pa's? what was the lineup for UR at the time? ta for any help Stuart _ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com. Re: [313] Richard Harvey
Harvey's still one of the resisdents at the House of God, saw him there last weekend, played a nice warm up set for steve glencross. even more confusingly he also works at integrale musique. Didn't know he was resident at lost as well. That name makes you wonder a bit, doesn't it? Up the garden lane (sorry, path) we go... I dont have a clue about his name, but he is maybe still a resident at House of God as well as Lost, although I dont actually know because I havent been there for a year or so. But he certainly used to be, and quite decent as well, I've heard him tear it up on many occasions. Birmingham or people related to it seem to be getting alot of mentions lately, which is cool as I've always reckoned Birmingham is a good city for techno. Louis played quite a few times at the House of God about a 1 year to 18 months ago. From my fading memeory he was quite good but i only got around to seeing him play once. Stuart Ah but did you know that Ozzy's son is a DJ? i've been offered louis a coupla times, but was hesitant. did you book him? same thing with perry farrell - apparently perry wants $15,000 for a techno set and prefers to play festivals. yikes. linda g __ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com
