In part... from the 16 Jan. '00 issue of the L.A. Times-Pop Music/Pop Eye section: Moby's 1999 album Play has sold only about 285,000 copies in the U.S., but it has become increasingly difficult to get through a day without hearing it. All 18 tracks on the album, plus all the related single B-sides, have been licensed for use in commercials, movies, TV shows or compilaions. That's believed to be a first for a current release. James shed some light: don't know if this is old news--but the Juan Atkins Master Mix has been rereleased and it's unmixed this time. which means--every man and his dog can have a copy of 'charivari' or however it's misspelt. james Since the tune lends itself to, literally, a number of names and it suffers from the classic tag seems to me it's more than ready for a remix project with each contribution appropriately misspelt.
