it's easy to put the track marks in. just rip the mix in your fav audio
program, add the track marks and burn.

He had a couple slight mishaps this past weekend, other
than that his mixing was flawless. I guess he's been
practicing ;)

I have seen him play live a couple of times since then but have no idea

At the time he said that he didn't really consider himself a true DJ
because of his lack of technical skills - I don't know what he says now.

RE: (313) CC Workout CD

2003-01-30 Thread Grammenos, Peter

Enough about how the cd is made, how is the mix ? I want
to know before shelling out $27 for it.

I flew to toronto this weekend for the todd sines/carl craig
party and carl blew my mind! He spun everything from classic
acid to house (rapture w/ james duncan!) to deep techno to ...
He was on for about 3 hours and spun one great record after
the next. Todd's live set w/ natasha was excellent as well,
and moonstar dropped a few dancehall tracks + other diverse
gems.

they do that everytime if the (average) mixcd contains 20 tracks, the
unmixed vinyls contain only 16 of those tracks, and the tracks that are to
me the main reason to buy the unmixed version are not on there...

Thanks for the answers guys. Even though i find can appreciate the artistic
concept i still find it damn annoying! I mean you gotta reserve some
dedicated time just to listen to all the tracks on the cd.

i recently got the workout mix cds and to my shock/horror discovered it to
be one endless track instead of being split into individual tracks. Needless
to say listening to cds can be a little annyoing if all you wanna do is
listen to track 8 and 12.
