Awesome song, but such a crap vid. Surely the label had enough budget to come up with something better than that? It is sad that that video might have introduced some MTVers to Juan's music but that it was paired with those horrid visuals. -- Andrew Duke In The Mix weekly mixshow (est. 1987), excl. Re: (313) Model 500 - The Flow film clip
Juan, prepare my submarine I love that a group of guys just show up walking on the beach at the end and then get zapped and disappear did they ever appear anywhere else in the video?? I didn't see them. They just walk in off the right side in regular street clothes like they're going down to the corner store and *bloop* - they get zapped and *bling* they're gone Non sequitur love it MEK southernoutp...@gmail.com wrote on 01/27/2009 07:13:54 PM: I remember Mr. Banks showing me this clip at Submerge back in the day... it's hilarious... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l4d87BvQRuI P.

.awesome! Time to go buy some wet-suits for all my lady friends and get ahead of the fashion trend :) -Arturo There's something about that old video aesthetic that I always love though. Something about the grainy video quality that I always really like, no matter what the subject is. I don't watch a lot of music videos but I'm seeing some attempts to parrot that with new stuff these daysto mixed results. example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pKz-RXSeIYA
Re: (313) Model 500 - The Flow film clip
I think you're right - the style of the video wetsuits added a whole new dimension to the music (and the artists). I might not hear Model 500 the same way again after watching - lol! I do enjoy cheesy music videos tho' - good fun to laugh while listening to cool music. Lisa Arturo Lopez wrote: .awesome!
