(313) Tuesday quiz question #1 - Moritz
There are 2 questions but right now I've forgotten the second. Anyway having just got back from abroad and being out-of-the-loop on things round here I went out at the weekend and found out a friend was over playing out in Berlin. The friend that told me this said something like wow Miles is over playing in Berlin - and he's on either before or after Moritz VO. So I asked what a Rhythm Sound thing? But apparently not - according to my friend Mr. VO has a new project working with someone else, doing something a little different to RS? Sounds really interesting, especially if it has him out and about DJing - and something other than reggae? I checked the listings for the clubs yesterday but couldn't find any clues (some had updated the listings already), I think the gig was part of Transmediale. Anyone know anything about this?

Well done Rob - if I can't remember the second question you've scored 100%. What a line up! I'm off to Berlin again in a few weeks time but if I'd seen this I'd've been there for sure. I'll bet that live set was something else. Is there a link to this anywhere? Curious as to what gaff it was. -Original Message- From: Robert Taylor [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: 05 February 2008 11:40 To: [EMAIL PROTECTED]; 313 Subject: RE: (313) Tuesday quiz question #1 - Moritz Yeah, he did a live thing with Vladislav Delay and Max Loderbauer (of Sun Electric) for a Resident Advisor sponsored night Sunning line-up! Re: (313) Tuesday quiz question #1 - Moritz
Moritz' live set was really cool but the place was just way too crowded to focus on the music unfortunately. I may be mistaken, but I think Moritz was the one sitting on stage with a huge old patch synth. I have a short video which I'll upload in a few days once I get resettled here in san francisco.

I found some clips online: http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x490ug_moritz-von-oswald-crew-de-1_music http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x491c5_moritz-von-oswald-crew-de-2_music Moritz is the one behind mixing desk. Heard from some people that it was rather disapointing boring, but from what I can hear in this clips sounds really interesting, but different from r s stuff. btw james: you moved back to san francisco?
