Re: (313) billy corrigan meets nitzer ebb
they started doing stuff at other venues with mixed success after the motor building was evidentally sold. i dont think they have any events planed at the moment. keep an eye on detroitluv.com. they post stuff up there. I was thumbing through mojo magazine tonight and came across a blurb about bon harris from nitzer ebb producing billy corrigan's new solo album. it mentioned a track by the name of 'join in the chant' but didn¹t say if it was a cover/remake or not. anyone heard anything about this?
Re: (313) billy corrigan meets nitzer ebb
it mentioned a track by the name of 'join in the chant' but didn¹t say if it was a cover/remake or not. aww, not sure, but if you're not familiar with the nitzer ebb version I can recommend it! also, to keep it OT, Derrick May's mix of Shame is raw, hard and essential dancefloor bizness. (thats on novamute I think) alex eh...the remixes of 'fun to be had' and 'getting closer' are much more rawer, harder and esential-er than the mayday mix of 'shame' (in my ever so humble opinion) and yeah, I was around for 'join in the chant' its first time on the dance floors... =)
