just picked up a few items last night Amplified Orchestra vs Dexter - Funk Force/2 Brownies a Bassline on Clone - apparently only 500 copies? Doesn't matter, it's the best electrofunk I've heard in ages (from outside Detroit) it's a brilliant 12 that. the vocal mix of 'Getting It' is one of my fave tunes at the mo. i think it recently got repressed. so the 500 probs refers to the first run. robin...

just picked up a few items last night Amplified Orchestra vs Dexter - Funk Force/2 Brownies a Bassline on Clone - apparently only 500 copies? Doesn't matter, it's the best electrofunk I've heard in ages (from outside Detroit) Alton Miller feat. Sky -Choose to Believe on Deeper Soul Recordings - has remix by Sweet Abraham originally on Mahogani Music but I guess it was only a 3 min sample - the full 7 minutes are on this newish release. also picked up a sweet NY/NJ house 12 out of the sale bins - can't recall the details but I seem to remember that Kenny Bobien lends his vocals to it I think one of the tracks is called Going back to Zanzibar or something like that. Big vocal tracks and one in particular is a stunner. I'll post more details later. MEK
