(313) now for some music....
hi gang ...just wanted to mention 2 new records i picked up that i am grooving to lately: vertical cat / _remote - split ep - smallfish records 002 4 tracks fo groovy deep techno and electronics. the vertical cat side has a minimal but melodic groove track while the second one is more of and idm type song, but still capable of making me nod my head and shake my ass. side b, the _remote side has two lovely and bleepy tracks, reminiscent of the uk/detroit connection of the early nineties. again, very groovy. audiomatrix002 - technomusicology - amxrecords002 a 3 track 12 - excellent electronic detroit techno, kinda reminds me of strand. really good for the dancefloor, funky and uplifting - all 3 tracks are excellent, a and b1 being my favourites. You can checkout their website: www.amxrecords.com Anyone know more on these guys?

Also you can give the new album of Ulrich Schnauss on City Centre Offices a listen, not exactly 313 but very very nice! I read somewhere that he has recorded a lot of music under various names, anyone know any of these names? Remco

A house one from me: Dj Spinna feat Sean Escoffrey, Mark de Clive-Lowe, remix by Paul Simpson: 'The Music In Me'. Smooth, smooth deep/vocal house (PS' mx is instrumental) in Yoruba/Spiritual Life style. (Rapster/BBE) I would really like to know more abt the motivation for Spinna in producing 'dance' tracks - not that I mind, esp. when the results are this cool! Just find it intriguing. k -Original Message- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Friday, June 20, 2003 2:05 PM To: 313@hyperreal.org Subject: Re: (313) now for some music Also you can give the new album of Ulrich Schnauss on City Centre Offices a listen, not exactly 313 but very very nice! Oh, ok, I think that's the Sean Escoffrey record that I keep hearing at the gym! You play that on Saturday, I'll play the Spinna one mate! Ken That's a great record, though I haven't heard the remix. There's some other great Spinna house stuff, Ken - have you heard, I'm sure you have, Days Like This or Space Rider by Escoffery? He DJs house a lot, too. - Original Message - From: Odeluga, Ken [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: 313@hyperreal.org Sent: Friday, June 20, 2003 3:15 PM Subject: RE: (313) now for some music A house one from me: Dj Spinna feat Sean Escoffrey, Mark de Clive-Lowe, remix by Paul Simpson: 'The Music In Me'. I heard some of their stuff blaring from [one of the 3 guys who are Audiomatrix]'s car @ a Mobil near DTW on the Thursday morning before the festival. Strangest place to trainspot ever! :) He was giving new material the 'car stereo test', and I must affirm it was tight! Really punchy but melodic. Did anyone make it to their party @ the DEMF? I was going to go but funds were tight. Tristan === Text/Mixes: http://www.phonopsia.co.uk Music: http://www.mp313.com Contact: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
