Including the new album Change?
Couldn't stand The Shamen, at all, myself. Class in the same category as 2
Unlimited...

I never cared much for the Shamen either.

I always liked Boss Drum from The Shamen a lot. I think i prefer The Shamen
above most of the stuff Mr. C. produced alone. Oh and Richie Hatwin's the
South of Detroit Instrumental mix of Ebeneezer Goode... yummie! banging
acid, not really a remix at all, more like a new track but it is great
 anyway!

Can't knock 2 Unlimited as much as I try... remember being in Eclipse in
Coventry back in 91 and Carl Cox playing that tune to death. Shamen were
good live tho... saw them at Keele Uni back in 89 when Nipper was supporting
them.

When exactly did Elypsia fade out? Every record I have from that label is

Yes, almost all of the singles; i.e. Eye To Eye, Flash, and Death
March, are included on the Elypsia 2x12. The only one missing is Sea 2
Sea (Mr. C Remix), which just might be a variation of Eye 2 Eye.
Elypsia was a super label. It is too bad it is no more. Scan 7's next
album,
Vanishing Act, was suppose to have come out on Elypsia.

Perhaps Ksomic Messenger sounds a lot better on vynil.

I never cared much for the Shamen either.

Bizarre Inc are not Altern8.
Nexus 21 are Altern8's alter ego - they had some great Detroit -influenced
trax on Network
Bizarre Inc were from Essex and Altern9 were from Stafford.
Bizarre Inc are still producing as Chicken Lips methinks.

Bizarre inc were originally dean meredith and Mark Archer and
Gareth Hunting

Personality conflicts between Meredith and Archer led to that group
fizzling out, with Archer going on to form the successful Altern 8

Playing With Knives and that white label they had out in 1990 with the Go Go
Go chant is quality UK techno/ rave.
Of course everyone from The Prodigy to Njoi had quality tracks out around
1990-1991.

I was talking about more pop oriented stuff like Sunscream, Opus 3.
Of course the UK is responsible for some of the worst dance music ever made.
