I've only got Chance McDermott's Blackball EP, very recommendable. Also, you might want to check these out, even though they're not on Black Nation. http://www.discogs.com/Jay-Denham-Life-Force-EP/release/10564 http://www.discogs.com/D-Knox-The-Body-Of-Christ-EP/release/74195 Cheers, - J Jussi Lehtonen Metaprogram yourself. Agree on the Psychic Warfare Daniel (although I didn't like the the 2nd one a few releases later), forgot to mention it! I remember liking Coup D'etat OK on that Vice but I think the rest was churning banging 2bar stuff, that's the last BNR I bought/own.. http://www.beatport.com/search?query=chance+mcdermott I know...it's beatport...but you can find a bunch of Chance's current works here...He's been doing great work lately, and finally getting some traction...he and I have a project together called BlackIrish...not found a home yet for it...but that too may change... -- fbk absoloop

Say I remember FBK or horsepower (?) being on the Black Nation website in the late 90s, did you ever play in Kalamazoo? Horsepower and I (FBK) both played @ hard black evening. I was slated to release a record for bnr but it didn't happen. Still talk to Jay and I have mad love and respect for him. On Sep 19, 2011 6:42 PM, david smith bassline...@gmail.com wrote:

Re: (313) the best Black Nation Records?()*^*()
Good question - depends on how much you like knee-in-the-nuts hard techno. I have a good portion of the catalog scattered throughout my disordered stacks. If you like Black Nation, you should probably also look into Sonic Mind (D. Knox), as well as Jay Denham's other projects, including an early release on Fragile. (Kalamazoo, 1/2 way between Detroit and Chicago). Samuel Karmel wrote: Ok i kinda skipped on this label except for a couple...whats the cream of the crop? pretty please Sam

someone asked about Aaron Bennett... Aaron is living in Austin, TX and is doing events under the moniker of Reverse Edit: http://www.reverse-edit.com/ Chance McDermott is still releasing music, he's done an album for panel trax and a few other digital labels as well...I talk to both of them quite frequently and count them as some of my best friends. I always liked ice cream man from techno land myself... On Fri, Sep 16, 2011 at 4:37 AM, JT Stewart etmach...@gmail.com wrote: I am a huge Black Nation fan...still play early stuff all the time.
