Re: [313] Detour/mixes?
There's a ton of mix cd's out there. DJ Assault's got more than a few of 'em (like the Off the Chainseries on Intuit-Solar), Snowflake's got a few good CD's. Hell, I even thought of doing one just for fun. dj revolver [EMAIL PROTECTED] on 02/07/2001 01:36:35 PM To: 313@hyperreal.org cc: Subject: Re: [313] Detour/mixes? excuse the non 313 related question but i don't know of a booty mailing list: does anyone have any disco d mixes to trade or to sell? feel free to email me privately. also, does anyone have any suggestions on any other ghetto tech or booty mixes? i just enjoy those crazy, funky tracks. thanks. steve From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: 313@hyperreal.org Subject: [313] Tomorrow night - Detour Date: Wed, 7 Feb 2001 12:20:34 -0500 So now I'm gonna shamelessly plug my club night. Re: [313] Detour/mixes?
should pick up DJ Godfather's cd Playa Hatas in Dis House, too, if you haven't already. unmixed, but so many nice tracks on there. he includes a mega-mix at the end which puts a nice spin to the tracks. he mixes every thirty to forty seconds or so. take care, Mike From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: dj revolver [EMAIL PROTECTED] CC: 313@hyperreal.org Subject: Re: [313] Detour/mixes? Might i also suggest DJ Godfather da bomb, vol one or two still one of my favorites. lots of good, classic booty tracks on there. d --- Michael Kim [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: should pick up DJ Godfather's cd Playa Hatas in Dis House, too, if you haven't already. unmixed, but so many nice tracks on there. he includes a mega-mix at the end which puts a nice spin to the tracks. he mixes every thirty to forty seconds or so. take care, Mike From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: dj revolver [EMAIL PROTECTED] CC: 313@hyperreal.org Subject: Re: [313] Detour/mixes? Re: [313] Detour/mixes?
Stay away from Off the Chain for the y2k though..its horrible its like Assault took all his tracks and just played them all at 45 and +8 on a modified table. Whenever he wrecks it says 'Dj Assault Off the Chain for the y2k' which it does repeatedly. It is quite annoying actually... anybody wanna tutor me on booty music e-mail me privately. I've only heard a little and I like it. I hear a lot of different stuff going on in it; Detroit techno, classic Chicago house stuff like Fingers. I'm really bored with some people's dance music elitist dismissal of it. It's funkyI just haven't had dough to buy too many records lately. lessons anyone Five
