it depends... Chris Tourgelis wrote: > > speaking of Regis, I saw a copy of Gymnastics cheap in town. What do people > think of that? I will be honest, I thought this album was the bee knee's when it was new. In hindsight, I cannot believe I ever liked the stuff(then again I feel that way about just about everthing in the downwards catalogue now.) Bangin' hard monotrack techno from the mid-90's, considered brilliant in its day. If you like monotrack techno it is good stuff, if you like your records to have musical developments and phrases that last longer than a bar or two, you might not care for this record. In my eyes, it is pretty souless and disposable, but that is _my_ opinion. If you did not live on the other side of the planet I would give my copy to you(along with all the other regis, early surgeon, female, and portion reform that is gathering dust in my collection) mt -- Michael Taylor : [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://homes.arealcity.com/Intermodal/index.html http://www.mp3.com/TheMSProject

speaking of Regis, I saw a copy of Gymnastics cheap in town. What do people think of that? Usually I'd buy cheap imports on spec but I'm pretty poor at the moment (uni + bills...). For that reason I'll probably be missing out on Oliver Ho and Herbert... :( btw did I hear right that Mick Harris is doing a remix for for one of Ho's labels..? chris > > it is sequential 1 with a damon wild rmx, isn't it? yeah, i also like it > very much. regarding to the regis album, is there a release date so far? > > also, anyone heard the new downwards, lino24 by regis? very good imo, with > extreme industrial approach > > -Original Message- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > >In a message dated 5/10/00 1:19:27 PM, [EMAIL PROTECTED] writes: >> >><< new oliver ho album? is it on meta? can anyone give me info on this one?

I assume it is out or being promoed as the promoter here has/or is getting a copy. He's playing a big free party at Hardware, Freeware 1.0 in Melbourne, too, on the 19th. All the details of how to score tickets (limited to 2000) are in the street press. C

So far there are two Lino 24s on 7" (a bit confusing)...One is "An Introduction to the Workplace" which is just a 7" full of metal shop noises by K. Bennett and David J. Wirethen last weeks "Public Information Film" by Regis...also labeled Lino 24 on the outside, and on the 7" Lino 2a on both w/ a more industrial noise approach.. so what gives..these just collectors items, or some pre-release hoop-la to something big? Anyone hear anything on this or happen to own some whites of something BIGGER to come like an album?
