Wow ! I have a Dan Bell writing white label copy of that also. Dan just played here in Cambridge the other night. http://unlockedgroove.com/photos/dbx-0105/ telepathic regards, the kranky scientist (due to the smoke alarms going off and on for the past 3 hours in my apartment building hallways) hell, I'd sell *my* own copy for that amount! and mines even more rare as it's a white label with Dan Bells own writing on it! bid now! :^) sean on 1/14/05 7:02 AM, Pascal Louwes at [EMAIL PROTECTED] uttered these words: Holy crap, it's on GEMM for 299 dollars... Re: (313) wuz this track
Hey, did anyone notice THIS review on discogs, kind of harsh but at the same time made me laugh: absolute.ruler - 16-Oct-04 10:01 PM One of the most overrated/overhyped techno records ever. Really, there is nothing special about this 12! Nothing extra-ordinary happens, there is no 'acid' whatsoever (no use of TB303 bassline), it contains just two (dance floor) techno tracks like a few 100's were made in that era. I could easily name (at least) 50 real acid stompers released in the same year that make the 'planet earth' track look like a LITTLE brother from a less interesting planet. The DBX side could be praised for its rhythms/beats, but that's about it. (The way Bell programs the drum computer has always been AMAZING, so again nothing new happens). Conclusion: let's stick to loosing control or high voltage for DBX. What Young is concerned, face it, he's a good DJ but as a producer he's nothing more than average. I still can't believe that so many discogs users actually 'want' this piece of vinyl. If u're one of them: have u actually heard the record, did you? What, NO 303 BASSLINE?! It's not acid at all... ;) ~David -- Original Message - Subject: Re: (313) wuz this track Date: Fri, 14 Jan 2005 13:57:04 + From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: M : A : T : R : I : X [EMAIL PROTECTED], Pascal Louwes [EMAIL PROTECTED], 'mislav bobic' [EMAIL PROTECTED], 313@hyperreal.org, [EMAIL PROTECTED] Wow !
