I also liked his Computer Rockers stuff, some of the stuff he did for
Ersatz is really cool too. I know he is not breaking any new grounds
here but it still sounds so good. I agree with the MPC Tracks too,
pounding techno-bass if you are into that stuff :)

RE: (313) Arpanet interview online at Technotourist.org

2004-03-13 Thread John Osselaer
Hi Jason,

Thanks for the nice compliments. This kind of reaction is why we do it
and what keeps us going. If you only knew how many interviews I have
still have to write or type out it would make you cry. We will do our
utmost best to keep them coming at a steady flow, but please keep in
mind that we are a small crew running the site, that we all have
absorbing day jobs and other hobbies as well.
Tonight we'll be adding another interview to our vault: Detroit Grand
Pubahs. ;-)

To just label this article as "another wonderful interview" from
the
Techno Tourists is not giving TT its dues. Some of the things said in
this interview gave me chills. The amount of imagination and
creativeness displayed in both apranets interview AND their album is a

testament to what we are doing by exploring the medium of electronic
music. And thanks to the techno tourists for laying down the best
series of techno related interviews I have been exposed too, ever.
If anyone knows of anymore archived interview collections (in

regionally coded information ) please let me know your favorite

liked what I heard. I had Dopplereffekt & Arpanet on shuffle and they both
sounded great to me.

Arpanet said that? Hihihihi, I really hope you don't print that! Did you get
the press release that goes with Arpanet? Try to figure out what it is all
about and you'll quickly end up with another project of mister Arpanet...

Did you also get a ridiculous list of 'what to ask and what not'?

Anywhere I could find this interview online?

Hey Minto!

I bought it on friday and I love it!
Typical Dopplereffect electro funk..
Not their best release but worth buying it IMO...

I love the Axis 26 too! Great stuff. I think the tracks are really old and I
wonder if Jeff Mills is doing such great tunes nowadays
Hopefully

Mine turned up yesterday; only got a chance for a quick listen last night -
it may start a new craze for electro line-dancing! I liked it, but its not
their best by a stretch.
My copy of Every Dog #3 also arrived, and on first listen it just about
justifies the outrageous price tag. It pretty much carries on from the
previous volumes - definite shades of R=R in there
