anybody wanna tutor me on booty music e-mail me privately. I've only heard a
little and I like it. I hear a lot of different stuff going on in it; Detroit
techno, classic Chicago house stuff like Fingers.

I'm really bored with some people's dance music elitist dismissal of it. It's
funkyI just haven't had dough to buy too many records lately.

Stay away from Off the Chain for the y2k though..its horrible its like
Assault took all his tracks and just played them all at 45 and +8 on a
modified table. Whenever he wrecks it says 'Dj Assault Off the Chain for the
y2k' which it does repeatedly. It is quite annoying actually...

classic booty tracks on there.

should pick up DJ Godfather's cd Playa Hatas in Dis House, too, if you
haven't already. unmixed, but so many nice tracks on there. he includes a
mega-mix at the end which puts a nice spin to the tracks. he mixes every
thirty to forty seconds or so.

take care,
Mike

There's a ton of mix cd's out there. DJ Assault's got more than a few of
'em (like the "Off the Chain"series on Intuit-Solar), Snowflake's got a few
good CD's. Hell, I even thought of doing one just for fun.

So now I'm gonna shamelessly plug my club night.

Detour Thursdays
901 Huron River Drive
The Wooden Nickel
Ypsilanti, Mi 48197

info - 734-495-7597

Tomorrow's Lineup:

Disco D (GTI Recordings/Ghetto Tech)

w/residents G-Major (Solid House/House) and Logic7(me)
(Labwerx/Techno-Electro-Ghetto Tech)

21+ 5$
18+ 8$
Doors open at 9pm.

I was originally going to bring my R8 MkII, Multi-Trak, and effects to add
a live element to my set, but I haven't had a chance to really practice
with it much. Maybe next time (Feb 22).

Peace
