Who is more reprehensible?
Fatboy Slim, or Moby? Actually, I wouldn't mind getting a critical review of Cook from this list. It seems the main problem with Moby is that he has ripped off every black artist to have ever existed by sampling some gospel, but Cook (to my limited knowledge of his repetoire) has only ripped off Jim and whoever did that Rockefeller Skank sample, and I don't think either are black. So can someone here gimme a critical reason why Fatboy is horrid, aside from hating him for his success. And don't forget that Jonze directs his videos and the new one stars Christopher Walken, that amazing!! Tosh

Anyway, I'll put my 2 pence worth into this one, I'm sure I'll regret it Moby writes pleasant to listen to pop tunes. The are not ground breaking and they're not Techno. They're easy to pick up, and easy to put down and probably won't change your life due to listening to them. Fat Boy Slim makes dreadful music that sounds about 8 years old. He uses old samples from breakbeat records and does totally nothing to them. He's also so full of himself in magazine interviews and always seems to be the voice of dance music over here. He really gets on my t*ts. I have nothing against sampling, so long as something creative is done with it. I cannot stand this arguement about white artists not sampling black artists because it's a total load of racist c---.

A dutch magazine asked him once how his new album gonna sound like and when it would be released. He seriously answered: I don't know that yet, i have to wait what the Chemical Brothers will do, i just copy their sound. Yeah well as long as he is happy with it... [EMAIL PROTECTED]

[EMAIL PROTECTED] I sense some strong sarcasm in Fat Boy Slim's statement there. Kind of ripping on his own genre of music. Or, in a way, he is greatly crdeiting Chem Bros calling them a leader in a world that all sounds the same as a lot of non-electronica lovers might say. just my thoughts =) - To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
