“Times" is present but its spelling is different.

Take a look at the list of fonts included with High Sierra:

HI Chip. Yes in my research I found it well documented that Times is gone in 
favor of Times New Roman. Problem is that Times New Roman is a bit larger than 
times and they have many letters created from templates that are in the 
processing stages that when viewed on new machines with Times New Roman 1 page 
dicuments are not longer 1 page documents… more work for the person doing the 
review.

After I get this resolved for the current batch of letters, I will have to get 
them to change all their templates to use a Times New Roman or another font 
that they might be happy with.

one other thing you could try:
I do not know how to do this in 4D write (I do not use it)
but I'll expect that while 'Times' is gone, there is a 'Times New Roman'
these fonts are nearly identical, and I suspect that 'Times' is gone 
forever as a standard font on Mac OS.

If you can switch the font from time to times new roman, and possibly 
remove the 'times' font from the user choice(s) of fonts. that will 
probably remove a headache that is otherwise coming at you.
